One of the old favourites popped up last night…the dodgy lift scene! First of all I was with Mark and we were trying to park in Barclays House multi story car park. I had gone back to work there….yes, it was a night-terror. I knew we would get in trouble for parking there as I did not have a pass, but it was chucking down with rain. The car park was odd as it was more like the carpark at Asda in Bournemouth. We were weaving in and out of cars and it was all quiet erratic. Eventually we parked up and had to get a ferry.Yeah I know, doesn’t make such sense! We were going down a small channel that had loads of designer shops either side. Eventually I got to Barclays House reception. I rescued a cat from the rain and left it on the reception desk. Then came the dreaded lift. The ones inside were busy so I went to get in an outside lift. It was really rickety and wet from the rain. The lift shot up to the top and slammed against the top of the lift frame. We could not get out as there was no floor to get out onto. I pressed to go back down and the lift shot back down, going from side to side, until it slammed back to the ground. I got out and went back to the indoor lift. I got off on a floor that was like a giant restaurant. I started wondering around, confused about how much the place had changed. Then, around a corner, I saw a charity stand…tomobla, cards, raffle and the like…and lots of dogs running around. It was a dog charity fundraiser. I walked over to pat the dogs, all of them grabbed my hand, and I had to firmly say NO, then tell them they were GOOD DOGs. Then I noticed all the dogs were covered in mange or deformed. I fed one pug looking dog with giant eyes, and when it went to swallow one of it’s eyes popped out of the socket on a tube. I felt sick as the dog yelped. Then I woke up…checked Lara and Buzz were ok, then fell asleep and the dream continued. The dog rescue workers had managed to stitch the eye back in and it had a patch on. The dream then went back work mode and I found the department I was to start in. There were lots of filing cabinets and that was it….the end!!
